Snow Globe Fun!

Created by Stacey Cogswell

Do you love interactive cards? Well, check this out!  New for the 2019 Holiday season is the Still Scenes bundle. Add the Snow Globe Shaker Domes and snowflake sequins to this bundle and you've a got a winner. This is my first attempt, so the water level is a little low, but the domes are super sticky so once you've sealed it with a clear window sheet there's not adding any more water. Oh well, it's still so much fun to shake around and see all the pretty shimmer floating around.

Here's what I used to make this card:
Still Scenes stamp set and dies
Snow Globe Domes
Snowflake Sequins
Wrapped in Plaid 6x6 DSP
Gold Foil paper
Gold Embossing Powder
Clear Window sheet
Shaded Spruce and Whisper White CS
Blender Pens
Real Red Rhinestones

The Holiday catalog goes live in just 4 more days......then you too can get your hands on this wonderful bundle!

Smiles,
Stacey

Banded Together again!

Created by Stacey Cogswell

I'm back today with another beautiful card using the Banded Together bundle. This time I used my alcohol Blends to color the flowers and the stem. You would never think to use Pretty Peacock to color flower stems but it goes so well with the DSP that it works. I also used two different pink colors for the flowers. It's hard to tell, but I colored and cut (gasp, yes fussy cut) two sets of flowers and stems and layered them on top of each other. In person, it really gives it a 3-D look.  You also can't see the Wink of Stella I added to make the flowers shimmer, but it's so pretty in person

Here is what I used to create this card:

Banded Together stamp set and dies
Oval dies
Everyday Label punch (trimmed down on the sides)
1/2" Scalloped Ribbon in Rococo Rose
Rococo Rose, Whisper White and Crumb Cake cardstock
Woven Threads DSP
Memento Black ink
Rococo Rose, Flirty Flamingo and Pretty Peacock Blends
2019-2020 In Color Faceted Dots
Wink of Stella on flowers

Go do some stamping!
Enjoy,
Stacey

Cup of Christmas

Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner already! I just received my pre-order from the Holiday catalog and I couldn't wait to make this 3D porject. I saw this idea months ago on a site called Kitchen Table Stamper and I couldn't wait to make it with my new Christmas stuff. The "Mug" is a ribbon pull pocket that holds a mug cake packet. Yes, this one is holding a gluten free mug cake packet (I was so excited to find these!) but you could use a regular one too. Isn't sweet! I can't wait to have everyone make one of these at the October stamp camp.

Here's what I used:
I used the new stamp set called Cup of Christmas for the greeting along with a piece of Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series paper (DSP) cut at 2 1/4" x 4 7/8"and 24"of new Garden Green 3/8" double stitched ribbon. A piece of garden green paper cut at 2 1/2" x 5 1/8" was dry embossed with the corrugated embossing folder and added under the DSP. The mug was cut from 5 3/8" x 9 3/4" piece of Real Red paper scored in half at 4 7/8" and a large double die cut circle (folded in half) handle was added. I used the large Starburst, 2" and 1 3/4" circle punches for he greeting piece. Garden Green ink was used to stamp the greeting and holly. A Real Red Blend marker was used to color the holly berries. The super cute wooden spoons were purchased from Amazon.

If you'd like learn how to make on of these along several other projects, come to my October stamp camp. Stay tuned for more information on when that will be and if you're not on my email mailing list, please contact me to be added.

Enjoy,
Stacey

When I sat down to make Zach's birthday card, I really wasn't sure what I was going to make. Then it hit me...I could use the set Ride with Me to make a truck (my hubby drives a big red truck) then fill it with packages! I did use three different stamp sets to make this card, but hey that's allowed right when it's a one of a kind. The packages are from You Always Deliver set and the "20" is from Make a Difference. It's hard to tell but the "20" moves back and forth like a wiper blade. I think it turned out pretty cool and Zach really liked it!

Bird Ballad Card Class
September 20th and 21st, 2019

The Bird Ballad Suite is one of suites in the new annual catalog. I just love the little birds and of course I'm a sucker for anything that has to be colored. These images can be colored beautifully with the Stampin'Up! blends or watercolor pencils.  For the September class I will showing just how fun it can be. I class we will transform 6 of the cards into works of art. I will also show you how to stamp a mirror image of the larger bird, but the technique can be use on any stamp! Once cards are completed, you'll still have extra supplies to create more cards at home. If you'd like more information about the class please contact me.
