Musical Stencil Flower Card

Designed By Stacey Cogswell

Each month I design a card for my son's piano teacher to deliver her payment.  I try to incorporate music in the card somewhere by using old sheet music as my "designer" paper.  Stampin'Up! now has two new items that feature music.  Designer paper (117166) and a standard roller with musical notes (120327).  Either one of these could be used if you not have access to old sheet music that you're willing to cut up!

Other products used:
Ivory, Basic Black and Shimmery White cardstock.
Big Shot (113439) and Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder (115964)
Elegant Trio Stencil (118262)/Sponge Dauber
Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose Classic Ink
Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon
Corner Rounder Punch
Basic Pearl Accents (119247)

This card is pretty easy to make.  I made two flowers on the Shimmery White cardstock, fading the color from Pretty in Pink in the middle to the Regal Rose on the outside.  Cut one flower out completely and one just the middle.  Layer, add a pearl accent and adhere to card front with  a dimensional.  Enjoy!

Smiles,
Stacey
