CCAT #4 A Simple Scene

Are you ready for the next CraftyCatwalk challenge?  Well, your challenge this time is to create a simple scene, frame it in black and place it on a white background.  Sounds simple enough, right?  Well, I had a really hard time with it.  I love black and white together, but for some reason I couldn't seems to work in the scene part. After much thought, many do-overs and re-working, this is what I came up with.  How it's your turn.  Go to the CraftyCatwalk blog, check out the challenge, see the other design teams creations, then take your turn at it and add your card to the blog for us all to see.  You might even win the challenge! I would love to see all of your amazing cards!

Products used to create this card:

Stamp set:  Lovely as a Tree and Sincere Salutations for the greeting
Card Stock: Night of Navy, Whisper White and Marina Mist
Ink: Marina Mist and Basic Black
Accessories: Big Shot with small dots embossing plate, Pinking Hearts border punch, brayer and white gel pen.

To make the trees "reflect" perfectly I used a piece of clear transparency.  Stamp your image on the transparency, then carefully flip in over, line up the images and press the transparency to the paper.  Rub carefully or use a brayer to transfer the image.  Pretty cool!

Smiles,
Stacey
