MOJO 163 Contest: Card Sketch

Do you ever feel like all your cards are starting to look the same?  Have you lost your "mojo" and just need a little inspiration when it comes to designing a new card layout?  Well, you'll ave to check out MoJo Monday! It's one of my favorite sites and it has really helped me to come up with some great cards I never would have thought of all on my own. Every Monday, a new sketch comes out and you can play all by using the sketch to see what you can come up with.  Plus, on every first Monday of the month, they have a contest where you can enter to win some great prizes.  This is the first sketch for this month.  I really was inspired by this sketch and although I should be using my time to get ready for stamp camp this weekend, I just had to make a card.  I also saw on France Martin's blog how to make these ADORABLE little acorn faces, so I set right to work to put the two things together.  This is what I came up with.......I think it really turned out great!

Products used to create this project:

Stamp Set: Day of Gratitude (clear 121148 $18.95)
Wood grain background
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, More Mustard,
Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Black and Ivory.
Ink: VerseMark, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard
and Cajun Craze.
Punches: Ornament, Scallop edge and small oval (for mouth)
Accessories: Big Shot with Square Lattice embossing folder,
large glitter brads, small black brads, chalk, white gel pen and More Mustard grosgrain ribbon.

Are you inspired now?  I hope so!

Smiles,
Stacey
