Card Contest Share #3

This card is very similar to a card we made at stamp camp, but placed the main image (butterfly) under a window pane.  I LOVE these little window panes and I'm so thrilled that Stampin'Up has decided to carry them over into the next catalog!  Whao Who!  The picture isn't the greatest, this card was much pretty in person.  I roughed up the paper edges and used the rock-n-roll technique to stamp the background images to give it a more antique feel.  To do the rock-n-roll technique, ink up your stamp, stamp off once then "roll" just the edges of the stamp with the same ink and stamp to the paper.  This created the two tone stamped image, which with the Bliss stamp set looks amazing.

Products used to create this card:

Stamp Set: Bliss (a retired Sale-a-bration set)
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler and Soft Suede
Classic Ink: Soft Suede and Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Window pane, Cherry Cobbler seam binding, Linen thread and a button.
Punches: Corner rounder and Scallop Trim border

Enjoy,
Stacey
