Simple Flower

Created by Stacey Cogswell
Copyright Stampin'Up!

This super easy card was created using the Blossom Party Big Shot Die, the Well Penned stamp set and the Color Spritzer Tool.  Simply cut out all the flowers out of Pretty in Pink and ink up using a sponge with Rose Red ink. A little more ink was added to the center flower to make it darker.  Layer them, add the rhinestone brad and you're finished with the simply embellishment.  Stamp the greeting, add a ribbon, give the white card stock a little spritz of color and you're finished with a simply but fun card.

Looking out the Window

Created by Stacey Cogswell/Original Idea by Jackie Juda
Copyright Stampin'Up!

When I saw this card in Jackie Juda's blog, I knew I just had to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it!  Isn't cute!?  My friend loves sailboats and I love cats, so this was a wonderful way to combine the two.  The sailboat is simply stamped on a solid white square and then cut in four pieces.  By leaving a little space between the pieces on the front of the card, it creates the look of a frame.  The little kitty is created using punches for everything except the tail.  The sailboat stamp is now retired, but this technique would work with many stamps.  Just think about what the little kitty could be looking at through the window!

Rag Purse and more!

Create by Stacey Cogswell
Copyright Stampin'Up!

You might have noticed by now that I'm a just a little hooked on the Black, White and Red color theme.  Well, I thought I would show you what started the obsession.  My friend Pat asked me make her a mini Rag Purse using the new Stampin'Up! fabric, so I set right to work.  All the squares in the purse and the flowers were cut using the Big Shot.  I couldn't just send her the purse and I had some fabric left over, so I added a few extra items.  You might recognize the little box (folded fabric) from the last post and the necklace (stamped paper) from the post before that, but the card is a one of a kind.....and yes, it's also made with fabric.  Pink Tacky sheets were used to adhere the fabric on one side before running the fabric through the Big Shot.  Peel the other side of the tacky sheet off and your ready to add the fabric to the front of the card.  It's pretty easy and it give the card a little extra dimension.  You'll have to give it a try.

Enjoy!

Contest Projects

Created by Stacey Cogswell

When I have time to create a project just for fun it's wonderful, but it's even better when I can create the project for a contest!  One of my favorite fellow demonstrator is blog is Angie Kennedy Juda and when she announced she was having a 3D contest, I thought I would enter.  I created a fun little box out of folded SU! fabric and a pin.  This technique can be done with paper as well, but I haven't done much with the fabric, so I thought is would be something different.  The pin can be worn on a jacket or blouse an it also features fabric and the new polk-a-dot ribbon.  If you would like to vote for my project or see all the other projects, click on Angie's name above.
