Easter Delights!

Lookie lookie, my friend and fellow demonstrator, Linda, made these super adorable creations for me for Easter.  She's amazing when it comes to punch art and it's always such a treat to receive one of her creations, but this time I was blessed with four Easter delights.  Check them out!

Easter Creations

Easter is in two days and I'm still working on my little creations.  Sorry I'm posting these so late in the game, but if you hurry you still have two days to make some for your self!

Isn't this little guy super cute!  He's made using the Oval Framelits collection from the Spring catalog, the Petite Purse Die and a couple of punches.  The bunny is attached to the front of the Petite Purse and filled with candy.  Because time is running short and you don't have a lot time to get to work, head over to Mary Fish's website Stampin' Pretty and you can get all the details.

Happy Easter!

Feeling Sentimental

Today is the last day of Sale-a-bration and your last chance to get any of the cool free Sale-a-bration stamp sets/items with a $50 order. These stamps are exclusive to Sale-a-bration and there is a good chance we'll never see them again. One of the stamp sets that has gotten the most commits to me is Feeling Sentimental. You know the one......old fashioned phone booth, ferris wheel and bicycle? It's one of those stamps sets that you either love instantly or question if you could love or even like it. I actually really like this stamp set and I wanted to show you what you can do with it, so I've come up with 3 different cards. (Well, it's better late than never right?) One of the reasons I like this stamp set is because it can be used to make a sophisticated card, say for an older persons birthday or even a masculine card, which as we all know are the hardest to make!

Let me know what you think of my creations and if you're now in love with this stamp set or any of the other Sale-a-bration items and want to get them before they're gone forever....contact me to day before 8:00pm with your order!!

Have a wonderful day!

My First Paper Pumpkin Kit

Have you heard about My Paper Pumpkin?  It's a new monthly card kit membership from Stampin'Up!  Each month a new kit will arrive in my mailbox for me to open and begin creating something fun.  I received my very first Paper Pumpkin kit yesterday in the mail and I was genuinely energized to see what goodies were in side.  I know it sounds silly to say I was so excited, since as a demonstrator I receive orders on a regular basis, but this was different some how.  It was like opening a special gift, complete with tissue paper wrap!
My Paper Pumpkin kit called "Hey There"
Alright now for all of you out there that haven't yet received your Paper Pumpkin, you might not want to look any further.....I don't want to ruin the excitement for you.

Look at all the cool stuff that comes in your first kit:

You get enough supplies to create 4 cards;  Stamps, ink, pre-printed elements, designer paper, scored cardstock and even a clear block!  But truly the best part is all the thinking has been done for you and in less that 30 minutes all your cards can be put together!  I don't about you, but sometimes I just want to create without all the planning and thinking!  It took me less than a minute to do just one card.  Directions come with your kit for one card design, but I can see several different ways that the cards could be put together and if you have other supplies on hand ....the sky's the limit!  Here a picture of the the basic card design:

Well, there you have it.  What do you think?  If you like what you see, you too can have Paper Pumpkin kits delivered right to your door.  Everyone will receive this same kit as their first kit, so that you will have a clear clock for all your future kits.   All you have to do is go to www.mypaperpumpkin.com and sign up.  When you do if you mention me as your demonstrator, I will get notice that you sign up and I would love to see who all is getting a monthly thrill along with me!

April 2013 Stamp Camp Projects

The April 2013 Stamp Camp is just around the corner on April 5th.  Months ago, my brother posted a picture on Facebook of these cookies that looked like "tea bags" and I my mind was instantly in a whirl...what about a card to match or a gift box filled with tea....so when I opened the Spring mini catalog with saw all the new "tea" related products, I just knew I had to make this the stamp camp theme.

This is what I came up with:  A box decorated with the new Tea for Two designer series paper and a paper flower from the Pop-Up Posies designer kit.  Inside the box will be the cookies (picture) and a set of tea bags wrapped with the Tea for Two designer fabric and tied off with linen thread plus a Tea Time Trinket...these little trinkets are so cute!  Little tea pots, cups and clocks.  Now of course if you're going to give a gift of tea, you have to have a card, so why not a card shaped like a Tea Pot!  This fun idea comes from my up line Jill Olsen and it uses the Oval Accent Bigz Die.....so cool or should I say hot!

This next card continues with the "tea or coffee" theme.  It uses the stamp sets Morning Cup and Tea Shoppe.    It's a quick, but fun card and it also has DSP from the Tea for Two paper pack and the new Designer Builder Brads.

Now this last card doesn't really have the "tea" theme, but it's sweet just the same.  This card features the stamp set Collage Curios.  Again, I've used the Tea for Two designer series paper with Lucky Limeade Ribbon and the Apothecary Accents framelits, but what I really wanted to show you was the new Soda Pop Tops.  I'm sure if you're like me, when you first saw these in the Spring catalog you thought..."How in the world are those going to go into an envelope?"  Well, let me show you a really cool trick to flatten them so they will go in that envelope or even on a scrap book page.  This card features the stamp set Collage Curios and it's prefect to pair with the Soda Pop Tops.

Well, I hope you like everything you see and if you'd like to come to stamp camp, please let me know right away, as space is limited.

Have a wonderful rest of the week!
Smiles,
Stacey

Customer Thank You

Created by Stacey Cogswell

I'm a little late today posting, so I'm going to keep it short.  This card was the January "Thank You" card that every customer received for placing an order.  It features Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper, ribbon and button.  This was a pretty simple card to create.  By using the Big Shot for the two central shapes and the new Hexagon embossing folder you can add eye catching interest with out a lot of effort.  Hope it inspires you!

Products used to create this card:
Stamp set: From the Heart (greeting)
Cardstock: Whisper White and Island Indigo
DSP: Sycamore Street (Sale-a-bration product)
Ink: Island Indigo
Extras: Big Shot with Hexagon embossing folder and Window Frames Collection (page 36 of Spring Mini)
Baker's twine, SAB button

Have a wonderful week!

Are you tired of "sea" cards yet? Well, I have one last one for you today.  We all know how hard it is to come up with masculine cards, so when I saw this one, I knew I had to make it.  It used only two colors: Very Vanilla and Basic Gray plus one stamp set.  Quick and easy, but a very cool end product.

Products used in the card:
Stamp Set: By the Tide
Ink: Basic Gray
Card Stock: Basic Gray and Very Vanilla
Extras: 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" square punches

I think this card would look good in Night of Navy or Soft Suede as well.  Really just about any color would work except maybe.... pink! :)

Stacey

Well, I missed Monday, so I will make up with a post today.

Here is another card inspired by our trip to Hawaii.  It is very simple, but still nice.  The largest square is 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" and the smaller squares are 1 3/4"x 1 3/4" and 1 1/2" x 1 1/2".  I stamped the images in Early Espresso and then added a small amount of Calypso Coral ink with a sponge dauber.  Stamp the greeting, spritz a little Early Espresso on the base of the card, add some brads and you're done.

Products used in the card:
Stamp Sets: By the Seashore and Lacey & Lovely
Ink: Calypso Coral and Early Espresso
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Early Espresso
Extras: Neutral brads, Spritz tool with Espresso marker.

Enjoy,
Stacey
