The April 2013 Stamp Camp is just around the corner on April 5th. Months ago, my brother posted a picture on Facebook of these cookies that looked like "tea bags" and I my mind was instantly in a whirl...what about a card to match or a gift box filled with tea....so when I opened the Spring mini catalog with saw all the new "tea" related products, I just knew I had to make this the stamp camp theme.

This is what I came up with: A box decorated with the new Tea for Two designer series paper and a paper flower from the Pop-Up Posies designer kit. Inside the box will be the cookies (picture) and a set of tea bags wrapped with the Tea for Two designer fabric and tied off with linen thread plus a Tea Time Trinket...these little trinkets are so cute! Little tea pots, cups and clocks. Now of course if you're going to give a gift of tea, you have to have a card, so why not a card shaped like a Tea Pot! This fun idea comes from my up line Jill Olsen and it uses the Oval Accent Bigz Die.....so cool or should I say hot!

This next card continues with the "tea or coffee" theme. It uses the stamp sets Morning Cup and Tea Shoppe. It's a quick, but fun card and it also has DSP from the Tea for Two paper pack and the new Designer Builder Brads.

Now this last card doesn't really have the "tea" theme, but it's sweet just the same. This card features the stamp set Collage Curios. Again, I've used the Tea for Two designer series paper with Lucky Limeade Ribbon and the Apothecary Accents framelits, but what I really wanted to show you was the new Soda Pop Tops. I'm sure if you're like me, when you first saw these in the Spring catalog you thought..."How in the world are those going to go into an envelope?" Well, let me show you a really cool trick to flatten them so they will go in that envelope or even on a scrap book page. This card features the stamp set Collage Curios and it's prefect to pair with the Soda Pop Tops.
Well, I hope you like everything you see and if you'd like to come to stamp camp, please let me know right away, as space is limited.
Have a wonderful rest of the week!
Smiles,
Stacey
