Here is what you need:
9" x 12" piece of DSP
Optional paper handle 1" x 12" or 14" of ribbon
Trimmer with score blade
Bone folder
Hole punch
Liquid glue or strong tape runner
Embellishments
With
9” side at the top of the trimmer, score at 1 ½” and 7 ½”
Rotate
the 12” side to the top and score at 1”, 5 ¼”, 6 ¾” and 11”
Cut
on the two middle score line up to the first score line.
Fold
the 1” sections to the outside and glue in place.
Gently
use bone folder to crease the score lines
Fold
two flaps up and glue in place to one side of the bag. If adding a
paper handle or flat ribbon, adhere it now and then fold the last
sides in and glue in place. Otherwise, punch a hole on each side and add ribbon
Glue
scrap 1 ½”x 6” piece of paper into the bottom of the bag.
Embellish
front of bag as you like.
Now go dig out all the DSP you've been hording and make some bags!
