Christmas Stamp Camp

It's the first day of Fall!  While everyone is out racking leaves and preparing for all the fall activities, I've been inside working hard to get ready for Christmas.....Yes, it's time to be thinking about Christmas!  I thought for the October stamp camp I would focus on making some fun, easy to reproduce, fast to make Christmas cards and projects.  So without further delay.....here they are!

This first group of cards and 3D project are super quick to make because the use the pre-printed Snow Festival Designer Tags for the Holiday mini catalog and pre-made mini note cards.  All you have to do is stamp a greeting to the tag, (I used the stamp set "Greeting of the Season" item #128033 for all of them) dry embossed a piece of card stock and add them both to the little mini note card.  For the candy treat holder, cut out a petite pocket with the Big Shot, wrap the tag around it and add some baker's twine.  SuperDuper easy and fun to reproduce.

This second set of card is created using the stamp set "Scentational Season" item #121190 for the Holiday mini along with the Festival of Prints Designer series paper stack.  For $6.95 you get 48 sheets of 4.5" x 6.5" pieces of paper, that when cut in 1/2 will give you enough designer series paper to make almost a 100 cards!  At camp we'll be making 4.  The cards also feature the new ribbon slides and stitched In Color ribbon.   But you can't have a card with a cup of cocoa on it without.........a cup of cocoa gift!

Isn't this cute!  I saw this blog and instantly knew it would make the perfect 3D project to go along with my cards.  This scored folder uses the same stamp set "Scentational Season", but did you know this set also has a matching Framelits die set?  How cool is that!  Stamp, cut and you're done.  Too cute and so much fun to give.  How much would this be to receive.....chocolate and peppermint...how can you go wrong!

Lastly,  I wanted to show you the cool new Core'dination card stock on a card.  This card stock, unlike all of Stampin'Up's other paper, has a white core, so when you emboss it and sand it the white comes through.
It is so much better in person, because you can see the rich texture and feel the velvet created by the paper.  It's hard to see, but the star is stamped in gold and accented with a pearl and the "Wisemen" are misted with a thin layer of sparkle to give the feel of traveling through the starry night.  This a a classic and elegant Christmas card that looks like you spent hours on but didn't.

Well, what do you think?  I'd love for you to come to camp and make all these wonderful cards/projects.  The date will be Friday October 12 from 6:00-10:00.  Please let me know if you would like to come and if you are already on my email list you will be getting a detailed information about this camp soon.

Smiles,
Stacey
