Thank You Treats

As many of you may know, I've spent a lot of time this summer in and of doctors offices trying to figure out why I was in so much pain with my back.  As it turns out, it wasn't my back after all, it was my SI joints.  They just didn't want to stay in the right spot, so I've made many trips to the chiropractor to put them back.  Fortunately, this doctor was the first doctor I've had in years that wanted to get the root of the problem instead of just covering it up with a band aide.  So, in the process he discovered that my left leg is almost 3/4" shorter than my right.  This, along with many years of inflicting damage not knowing I was, has caused my body to be just a little out of whack!  I fell in March of this year and that's when my body said "I can't do this any more on my own!"  So long story short, all of this has caused my joints to become hyer-mobile and loose.  To fix this, I've had three rounds of painful Prolotheraphy shot in hopes that the treatment will cause my ligaments and tendons to shrink back to hold my joints in place better.

Anyway, I thought that after all these appointments and seeing almost every person in two different doctor's offices, I would make them a little "Thank You" treat.  These were super easy to create using the Petite Pocket die, the Delicate Designs embossing folder and some ribbon.  The greeting is from the stamp set called Perfect punches (page 120 in main catty.)  Add a couple of rhinestones and a piece of candy and you've got a super sweet treat.  Everyone really liked them and one of the doctors might even start coming to my camps...how cool is that!
