November Stamp Camp project #3

Well, the wait is over.....I finally finished the last project for the November stamp camp. I originally was planing on a making a decorated tin filled with candy, but after holding a workshop last week where we all make gift tags, I changed my mind again! So, with out further ado here is the project:

It's still a cute little metal tin, but instead of candy, (don't worry if you come to camp, I'll have lots for chocolate to snack on!) it's filled with cute tags made with the Tags til Christmas stamp set and eight different punches! The cover uses the new Joyful Season Letterpress plate, which embosses and prints at the same time....Way Cool! (Don't worry if you come to camp, I'll have lots for chocolate to snack on!) Several of the tags have a little something special; brads, glitter, rhinestones or the new glass glitter. Aren't they cute!

November Stamp Camp Project #2

I had a serge of energy last night, so I stay up a little later than normal and finished the second project of the November stamp camp. Using the Sweet and Sour Specialty designer paper, I created this fun personalized journal with matching bookmark and pen. It hard to see in the picture, but this paper is really cool. Every sheet has some part of it that is glossy embossed to give the paper that extra "pop". So, because I'm using this pack of paper, the prints will vary and not everyone will get the same print, but I don't think you will be disappointed. Every sheet is so cool, I had a hard time deciding which one to use for the sample! The matching bookmark's "letter" is embossed with clear powder to give it some sparkle, the pen is covered with matching designer paper and then rolled in micro bead to give it a great finishing touch as well. I think this is a really great project and any one on your Christmas gift giving list would be thrilled to receive it!

November Stamp Camp Project #1

November stamp camp is scheduled for Nov. 5th and 6th and unlike any camp I've done before, I don't have all the projects completed! This is because I decided to do something completely different at the last minute.....gift projects instead of Christmas cards. So I've had to scrabble to get supplies and find the time to get to creating. After much experimenting, several trials and errors, here is the first project. Glass etched Christmas ornaments! I think they turned out pretty nice and they are really pretty in person. Chose the one you like the most; a snowflake, a dove or a poinsettia. Then you will make a pretty custom box to put in, perfect for gift giving.

I'm heading out this weekend for a Stampin'Up Regionals event in Portland, but I hope to get the rest of the projects done on Sunday. They will include a personalized journal with making pen and bookmark and a candy filled metal tin. Please check back on Monday and hopefully I'll have them all done, but don't wait to sign up, because I only have 5 spots left on Friday night. I have lots of openings on Saturday afternoon. The deadline to sign up in October 30th and the cost is $15.00. Please let me know soon if you would like to come.
