May Stamp Camp Projects

Here they are......the coolest "manly" cards I've ever come up with!

Project #1:  Do you have a man in your life the loves "boy toys"?  You know what I mean; motorcycles, jet skis, Quads...well this the card for you!  Isn't fun!  I used the set called Loads of Fun along with the Lattice Texture embossing folder to create this great card.  The greeting is from the the set Word Play and in my option is perfect for this card...it never hurts to wish big on your birthday!

Project #2: This super cute card was copied from fellow demonstrator Tami White. When I saw it, I just knew I had to make it! This would make a wonderful any occassion card, but wouldn't it make the sweetest card for a new baby boy? If you love punch art, you're going to love this card.  The lion's head used several circle and scallop punches, but can you tell what I used to create his tail?  If not, you'll have to come to camp to find out!  It used the heart shaped Treat Cups filled with M&M's to create his body.  Love it!

Project #3:  This card is the traditional Father's Day card (or birthday) with it's shirt and tie, but this no ordinary card!  The card it's self has a unquie way of opening and the little shirt is actually created by folding a 4x6 piece of paper.  It used the new stamp set Best Dad Ever for the new Summer mini catalog to stamp  the greeting and to create the tie. A super easy card that looks like you spent days to make!

Projects #4:  This card is probably the most time consuming card ( don't be scared, it's not that hard) of the four projects, but what an amazing result!  The sailboat is stamped on watercolor paper and the colored with ink/aqua painters.  Watercoloring is one of my most favorite techniques and if you haven't tried it, you should.  I love the way the images had a "real" feel to them. This card used several new items from the new Summer mini catalog, including new nautical paper, the stamp Sail Away and super fun Baker's twine.  Plus, while day dreaming on day, I figured out a way to make waves with the scallop border punch.  I was so excited to come up with all on my own and I can't wait to show you how easy it is!

  1. Thanks for sharing! I have my "Make it Masculine" camp coming up and am currently adopting all such ideas for my designs. My favorites are the "Wish Big" and the shirt card. Great job on making yours masculine and fun!
