Merry Christmas

Greeting to you all.  You've probably been wondering were in the world I've been and what I've been up to!  Well, to be completely honest, I've been mostly at home and I've been doing mostly nothing.  I decided that I would take the month of December off from stamping and I actually did it......almost.  I did make a few gifts tags and treat bags, but that's all.  I didn't even make Christmas cards....can you believe it?  I have done some other crafting though.  I've made about 10 knitted hats as gifts and I've really enjoyed the change in crafting material.  I've also gotten in a little reading, something I don't do much for myself except during "school" time with Zach.  It's been really nice to be able to enjoy all the wonderful things that Christmas brings, with out all the hustle and bustle.  More importantly, I've learned that all the craziness isn't what Christmas is about, it's spending time with the ones you love and making simple memories that will last forever.  I want to wish all of you the true peace of Christmas and may you have a wonderful time with all those in your life that you love and cherish.

Merry Christmas everyone and may God Bless you abundantly in the new year!
Love,
Stacey

Gingerbread Man Tag

Here is another cute tag I made using the Large Flower punch (item #118073).  Isn't he cute!  It wasn't my orginal idea....I saw this on Heather Summer's blog and knew I just had make one or two or..........many!

Again, I used the Two Tags Die to make this tag, but I folded the paper before running through the Big Shot so that I would have a tag that opened. (Just make sure the fold of the paper doesn't hang over the end edge of the die.)  Here is a picture with the tag open.  You can add a piece of paper to write a greeting on one side if you like and add a gift card on the other.  The little paper bag was dry embossed using the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder.

Christmas Tag/Bookmark

WOW....it's already December 15th!  How did that happen.......wasn't it just Thanksgiving?  Every year Christmas seems so far away and then all of a sudden it's here!  Anyway, it's been crazy around our house.  My son was sick most of last week and then I came down with it.  I've also been doing some fill in work at the Imaging Center, so I'm way behind on all my stamping projects.  On Sunday, I was able to come up with a couple of simple projects to share with my downline during our monthly team meeting.  Here is the first one:

I made this little tags with the Two Tag Die, Tag Alongs and the Short & Sweet stamp sets.  The tag was tied to a little goodie bag and it can be used as a book mark when Christmas is over.

Hope you like the idea.

Stacey
